Hmm… you raise an interesting point. Where does the human part begin? For me, ideas and concepts are part of the writing process. But I will mark you dhw anyway. After all, we can all get ideas and concepts from those around us, even a computer program.
They are part of the writing process for certain. However how they are implemented, how they grow, those are what I prefer to build by 'hand.' And we do derive inspiration from the world around us including computers. If we subscribe to the old rules "there are only X number of stories" nobody would write either. But I believe "sure there are only X number of stories," but infinite implementations.
