Thanks for including me! The one time I resorted to AI for research in my writing, it gave an inaccurate result. I couldn’t quickly find a news article or other source with the date I needed, so I asked GPT. Fortunately, though I didn’t know the exact date of this event, I did realize that the AI was off by decades. That drove me back to more diligent research, and I eventually found a news article with the correct date.
And this still only took a few minutes! I’m old enough to remember when I’d have to go down to the library and go through news archives for this type of research, or maybe even call a local newspaper or historical society where the event happened. Now we’re too lazy to even sort through a few hits on Google. (And yes, it was up hill both ways on my walk to school.)
Thanks for the inclusion as always. Just so things are up to date, I've changed my publication name to Nick After Normal. It felt like the right time brand my publication with a little more intent.
Thank you for putting this list together! I refuse to read AI-generated "writing" or look at AI-generated "art" (and boy, is there ever a lot of that creeping into Substack...), so this is very helpful.

Maybe I’ll try that Start Page.
Yeah, I’m old enough, too.
Thanks for the mention. While none of my text is AI, the real people who do my art will use some AI images.
Oh dear. That’s why I do my own art. And it’s getting harder when I do image searches to find non-AI stuff. So far, I can always tell.

Thanks for letting me know. Tough to keep up. Will edit the list later.
Yeah, no worries. I completely empathize.
There’s nothing like overcoming a literary challenge by using my brain and trusting my imagination. Great post A.C. Cargill!

Thank you for this. So very important.
Thank you.
Thanks for putting this list together!
Thanks for the Mention, and for all the work you put into these lists! 😎👍
Thanks for that mention! Great work here.
Thank you for the shoutout ⚔️
A.C., as always, thanks for the mention. Appreciate all the work you do on this and keeping this important issue out in front of people. - Jim
Thank you for the mention. Great to have this list so I can check out other writers.
Thanks so much for the mention!
I do a mix of narrative poetry and photography. I try to provide an audio component to each of my posts, too, to prevent the AI voice from butting in.
Thanks for the shout out. 👍 Peace ✌🏻
Thanks for the mention. I write horror stories and a dark literary fiction/crime serial. Just in case 🙏🏻
Fabulous! I’ll be sure to add you to my next Summer Scare post!
Oh awesome, thanks! I actually have an horror challenge going in, the Golden-Eyed Enigma, if you want to mention it 🙏🏻
