It was really interesting to read you process. I hope the book does well. I'm not a romance reader really, but I have to say the cover is very attractive and enticing.
Romance isn’t my usual thing to write, so I totally understand. I can assure you there are no “heaving bosoms” in this. It’s more of a relationship type of story, along with a bit of a figuring-out-how-to-live-my-life story. Thanks for the comments on the cover.
LOL. I have enjoyed two 'heaving bosoms' stories. One was a short story puin a women's magazine, and the other was the draft of a novel in which I fancied myself as the chisel-jawed swashbuckling hero. Both had been written by my girlfriend at the time.
Nice job! Please keep us up-to-date on sales numbers. I was on the fence if I should go self-pub or agented for my first Christmas romance novel. We can compare journeys!!!
I neither self-published nor used an agent. There is a third way. Plenty of publishers out there accept unagented work. Wordwooze Publishing handles my shorter works (they limit to 70K words). As for sales, there's a 60-day lag on that.
Congratulations! And lovely covers I must say!
