Scary September is almost here! And this post is changing.
NOTE: Starting in September, I will do these posts every other week instead of weekly. In their place I will be doing a post listing articles, poems, stories, etc., that catch my eye. For September and October that will be anything in line with Team Halloween. In November and December, I’ll focus on things related to that holiday season. After that, well, who knows!

Fiction is divided into two main categories, or so I have seen on various sites that present themselves as authorities on the subject:
Genre (mystery, romance, sci-fi, drama, horror, historical, etc.)
Literary (usually anything that’s not of a specific genre and often considered to be more focused on ideas that plot, characters, etc., but I beg to differ)
These genre days are great opportunities to showcase your work and are also inspirational!
